The Kitchen Table at W Shanghai - The Bund is famous for its Social Retox brunch, and it just got reloaded with the addition of one of the biggest stars of the fashion world, Karl Lagerfeld.
Not only are there iconic and edgy art installations, but there is also a surprise for guests; every table at The Kitchen Table (as well as YEN and WET BAR) that spends more than RMB2,000 will receive a coin with which they get to twist Lagerfeld's lucky knob for a chance to win a fabulous gift. The first prize is worth up to RMB2,000.
In addition to incorporating classic brand elements into the restaurant, Lagerfeld also boldly tried to combine fashion and food, allowing guests to taste delicacies while feeling the cutting-edge fashion design.
In addition, the brand carefully designed new outfits for the hotel's chef team, and even went to Paris to customize exclusive fabrics, presenting joint customized aprons for chefs and bartenders.
Brunch has also been upgraded; the chefs have returned to the banks of the Huangpu River with surprise dishes, introducing seasonal seafood and oysters, and creating new possibilities for egg dishes. Colorful desserts, such as specialty Gelato ice cream, will take your taste buds on a diverse adventure.
Every Sunday from noon to 3.30pm, head to the iconic restaurant to embark on the journey, enjoying creative cuisine and special wines. Packages range from RMB498 up to RMB798 net per person if you'd like all-you-can-drink cocktails and Veuve Clicquot Champagne.
