On January 7, the first baby conceived at Jiahui Fertility & Reproductive Medicine Center was born. To celebrate this joyous news, we caught up with the new mother and asked her to talk us through her journey, in her own words.
On first hearing about Jiahui’s fertility service...
“A friend of mine had previously received help from Jiahui and, thanks to Dr. Lulu Xiang’s guidance, managed to become pregnant and to give birth to a healthy little baby the following year.”
On the treatment of a friend with breast cancer...
“In early September 2020, a good friend of mine was diagnosed with breast cancer. She sought treatment from the Breast Cancer Center at Jiahui International Hospital. I started going to all the appointments with her, and I really liked the way the staff treated her – more than just a new patient, she was a human being in need of care, attention, support and professionalism.”
On the decision to choose Jiahui herself...
“At the same time, my husband and I were trying to conceive. I had previously been to other clinics to seek help, but all the advice I was given was ‘Give it time, give it one more year…’ and I never received any follow ups.
“After few years, I wanted strict and professional support. So I decided to try the Fertility Clinic Center of Jiahui International Hospital, and this is exactly what I found with Dr. Lulu Xiang and the whole department team.”

On the feeling of being a new mother...
“I'm in love! I am grateful and thankful for all the help I received, and I wish all the best to the Jiahui Fertility Center team. May they stay as human and professional as they are!”

Families who meet the following conditions can apply for a free periodic assessment:
Married and holding a marriage certificate recognized by the domestic government
The woman is under 35 years old
Have been trying to conceive for 1-3 years without success
Work/Residence in Xuhui District (relevant certificates are required)
*Limited to 15 cycles/month
After application, Jiahui Fertility and Reproductive Medicine Center will provide free cycle after futher evaluation. Jiahui International Hospital reserves the final right for explanationon any of the information presented hereby.
