What is First Cellars

First Cellars was founded by a New Zealander, a Swede, a Portuguese and a Kosovar. They love wine, but got tired of all the places offering low quality, high-priced wine here in China, and decided to do something about it.

The team brings together a sommelier for selecting wines, an e-commerce marketer to ensure a streamlined purchasing platform, an operations manager that also founded M1NT years ago and a liquor expert that understands the ins and outs of the industry.

What you'll find on First Cellars is a wide selection of different bottles, set at an extremely reasonable price point with the majority of wines either being green (bio dynamic or ecological) and/or rated at least 90/100 points from reputable wine critics.

Botter Prosecco

Prosecco is an Italian white sparkling wine, generally a dry or extra dry. It is made from Glera grapes, formerly known also as Prosecco, but other grape varieties, such as Bianchetta Trevigiana, may be included.

The name is derived from that of the Italian village of Prosecco near Trieste, where the grape may have originated. DOC Prosecco is produced in the regions of Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia, traditionally mainly around Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, in the hills north of Treviso.

This Prosecco has a typical crisp and delicate perlage. Pale light yellow in color, it has a delicate and complex bouquet with fruity notes that remind drinkers of peach and green apple, with secondary notes of acacia and lilac.

It’s fresh and light on the palate, with balanced acidity and body and a harmonic long, persistent aftertaste. Gold medal at Mundus Vini, Gold medal at Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.
