Sound of Spring is this weekend and we could not be more excited!

That’s Shanghai and Urban Family are once again taking over Green City in Jinqiao for our annual fun-filled family festival. Saturday and Sunday, May 15-16 will be packed with all sorts of exciting activities, from music to sport to delicious treats from Shanghai’s favorite restaurants. Here's just a few of the things to expect.

Battle of the Bands!

Battle of the Bands

From midday on the Sunday, schools from across Shanghai will be rocking out, and rocking out for a great cause, with a Battle of the Bands raising money for Heart to Heart Shanghai. Come and check out Shanghai's stars of tomorrow!

Arts & Crafts!

Young creatives can express themselves, with a number of booths offering Arts & Crafts options.

Incredible Shows!


The whole weekend will be packed with a variety of performances, from Fencing to Hip Hop Dance, Chinese Opera to Science Demonstrations.

Delicious Food!


There will be amazing yumminess from the likes of Tacolicious, Pizza Street, Blue Marlin and EPIC’Store.

Science Experiments!


Mad Science will be in attendance, showing kids how to blow up the house... joking!


SPL Mini World Cup

Get active with SportsWorld, SwimLand, MegaFit and more.

Kung Fu!

Kung Fu Bear will be on site teaching people their noble discipline.
