In this fast-paced society, we may need to exercise more than we think. Many organizations and institutions have been promoting sports to the public; even during the pandemic, in order to alleviate the restrictions of having to stay at home, the National Sports General Administration promulgated the Notice on Promoting Scientific Fitness at Home.
After the annual physical examination, there are always several indicators that will remind you to make some changes. It's known that participating in sports is good for our health, but many people, especially those between 25 and 50 years old, may have to bear more social pressures from work or family. As a result, doing sports gradually becomes less of at a priority in life.
Adriana Sports’ mission is to help women and girls who wish to improve their quality of life through sports by establishing pick-up basketball sessions in every district in Shanghai. "We hope to shorten the distance between their home, school or workplace and the court, and solve the common challenges and obstacles for play – such as finding a suitable place to play and female players to play with."
After launching the concept last October, Adriana Sports has set up pick-up basketball sessions in 10 districts in Shanghai and has organized weekly basketball activities. Every session has at least one responsible and reliable ambassador or staff member. They also prepare necessary first aid supplies, team uniforms, basketballs and other materials for everyone.
So let their efforts help you take the first step. Join a pick-up session, and enjoy the basketball experience!
