UP DATE 2020 Customer Appreciation Event was successfully held at Le Royal Méridien Shanghai’s newly renovated Grand Ballroom on last month. Over 200 VIP guests, clients and media attended the event.

The event started with Destination Unlocked to invite guests to embark on a journey of exploring the BRAND NEW Le Royal Méridien Shanghai, and experience its new design, environment, and facilities.
The hotel was delighted to take this opportunity to showcase its new guestrooms, Royal Club Lounge, function space, restaurants and bars and public areas after almost two years of massive renovation and upgrade.
After the cocktail reception, the Lion Dance performance kicked off the gala dinner followed by Mr. Tyrone Tang, and the hotel General Manager, Mr. Tyson Bae’s welcome speech.
The hotel’s skilled culinary team presented an exclusive 4-course set menu, which was created by Executive Sous Chef Andy Xu, Executive Chinese Chef Alan Li and Executive Pastry Chef Wilfred Pan. Each exquisite and tasty dish had a story behind it, which was shared during the event. The hotel also received congratulations from sister hotels.
With beautiful melodies by the live band, exciting lucky draw, and interesting games, all guests had a wonderful and pleasant evening.
