The Sukhothai Shanghai has launched its new Summer Bliss afternoon tea set, which is available at the cozy URBAN Lounge or the breezy The ZUK Bar terrace from 2.30-5pm daily.
Pastry Chef Lisa designed this menu with refreshing and healthy concepts. There’s no better way to enjoy the time with friends than over delicious sweet treats and savory bites without worrying about high calories.
Sweet delights featured include an adorable lemon-shaped cake made with Anyue lemon from Sichuan and thyme cream, Greek yoghurt panna cotta topped with green grapes and delicacies made with different Valrhona chocolate selection. Eat the jivara raspberry lollipop in one bite to experience the surprise of the chocolate popping candy.
Fluffy homemade scones in the signature coconut pandan and new summer apricot jasmine tea flavor will be served warm and accompanied by homemade raspberry basil jam and clotted cream.
Three types of light yet tasty tea sandwiches make a welcome savoury intervention from the sweets: homemade ricotta with Chinese caviar on rye, smoked salmon, sour cream, whole wheat toast and cucumber, asparagus, creamy fraiche, white toast.
To drink, choose any coffee, tea or the picture-perfect summer drinks made with passion fruit and strawberry.
