Nov 21: Ladies Who Drink – Winter Warmers

The temperature is dropping, and its time to make the switch from frosty cocktails to winter warmers. From hot toddies to mulled wine or even butterbeer, the Ladies Who Drink have got you covered. Join experienced mixologists Ana De Souza and Hannah Keirl for a lesson in cocktails at Perch. Your ticket gets you a tasting of the new Perch x The Grove winter cocktail menu, instruction in making two winter cocktails and tapas. Nov 21: Ministry of Negroni with Alex Custeau

Our friends at Funkadeli tirelessly fly the negroni flag, and for this month's Ministry of Negroni they are bringing in Alex Custeau from China Wine & Spirits. We like the sound of the coconut negroni and coffee boulevardier, but they had us at Thanksgiving negroni. Festive homemade pumpkin syrup spices up a blend of Le Tribute Gin, Campari (natch) and Gancia Vermouth Rosso. See you there?

Discover Sicily's DONNAFUGATA winery at UVA Wine Bar's pairing event. Try Anthilia Catarratto DOC paired with arancini stuffed rice balls, Bell'assai Frappato paired with mixed bruschetta, Sedara Sicilia DOC paired with penne pasta alla norma and Floramundi Cerasuolo paired with grilled chicken and vegetables. Nov 21-24: The Jerry Thomas Project at The SHANGHAI Edition

The Jerry Thomas Project is behind highly celebrated The Jerry Thomas Speakeasy – recognized by the World's 50 Best Bars for five years running. They have two other bars in Rome, a line of signature liquors and a hospitality school. Now, they bring the magic to The Shanghai EDITION for four wonderful days in Shanghai.

Nov 22-24: Michelin-Style Thai Feast at Hyatt on the Bund

The weather is getting colder, so we say go warm up with some authentic Thai cuisine. From November 22-24, guest chef Bongkock Bee Satongun – co-owner and head chef of Michelin-starred Paste Bangkok Thai Restaurant – is serving eight-courses of paradise at Hyatt on the Bund's VUE Dining.

Nov 22: Eat My Tacos!

Those crazy folks at Tomatito are turning from paella to tacos with a sexy taco pop-up this Friday. Be the first to try the taco offerings from the el Willy group's soon-to-open Mexican concept Bandido in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Nov 22: Winesgiving at Bird with Grape Paradise

Winesgiving at Bird is a full-on event starting from Nov 22 and going through to Nov 23. Things kick off with a natty pop up by Beijing's Grape Paradise featuring six natural wines by the glass. Both wine and red wine options are available all day long.

Nov 23-24: Green Escape Night Market

The Kerry Jing'an closes Anyi Road to traffic every weekend for an outdoor market called Green Escape. Bundle up and get ready to enjoy wares from over 50 vendors including flowers, Argentinian barbecue, Dutch french fries, DODU rotisserie chicken and healthy meals from Hunter Gatherer. They even have The Odd Couple cocktails.

Nov 24: Street Chefs Vol. 3

The reigning That's Shanghai Food Event of the Year, Street Chefs is back at Up Shanghai for the final time this season. Expect six of Shanghai's finest culinary talents to bring more tasty options than you can physically eat. Of course, that won't stop us from trying... The list includes UP Shanghai's own Carlos Sotomayor, Eduardo Gomez (El Santo, El Luchador), Hardeep Somal (Hooked, The Bull and Claw), Beichuan Yang (formerly of Inkwood), Lorraine Li (REVO), Ling Huang (Pirata) and Hiro-san (HTO and the newly opened Dr. Curry).
