Oct 29: B-Side China with Krish Raghav & Wu Qingyu

Comic book artist Krish Raghav and designer Wu Qingyu join Radii China’s Josh Feola for a free discussion at All Club this month. Both Raghav and Wu have added a visual element to music in China. Following a live discussion and audience Q&A, you can hang out and listen to some choice cuts from the Beijing underground rock scene from 1999-today. There will also be a limited edition print version of Krish Raghav and Josh Feola’s Hang on the Box comic for the music/zine nerds out there!

Indulge in a frighteningly fabulous All Hallows’ Eve feast and party on October 31 at the Hyatt Regency Shanghai Global Harbor. Enjoy a Halloween-themed dinner buffet at the Market Café before heading up to The Bar on the 47th floor to enter the Spooky Maze... if you dare. Shanghai, bust out your finest fangs because Boxing Cat is going deep with the First Blood theme and throwing an Eastern and Western blended vampire party. Draculas and Jiangshi alike are all welcome at their Xintiandi location. There will be DJs, garlic-eating contests, costumes for the unprepared Halloweeners out there and a whole lot of First Blood on tap.

Shanghai's favorite maximum rock 'n' roll dive bar is busting out the big screen for a showing of a Halloween cult classic: The Rocky Horror Picture Show. If you were at this shaker last year, you know this is one not to miss! Don't dream it! Be it! Come dressed up as your favorite character from the film!

If you’re looking for a real rager in Shanghai this weekend, BUDX Freak Out 2019 is the party for you. That’s right, China’s biggest Halloween warehouse rave is back! The fifth annual Halloween bash welcomes all you ravers, party people and freaks to their Evil Circus. Just like every year, there will be an action packed lineup of DJs and rappers like Herobust, Svdden Death, K?D, ATLiens and Fat Nick. But wait, there’s more. In line with the evil circus theme, there will be all sorts of games, monsters and more to keep the party going into the wee hours.

It's that spooky time of year again! The Rooster are holding their spooktastic Halloween Party! Come celebrate and get in on their Mixed Drinks Happy Hour, starting from 7pm until late! There will be special prizes for two costume categories: Best Overall Costume & Best Group Costume! The winner of the best overall costume will win a free keg of Shanghai Love Cloud Monster (yum!), and the winners of the best group costume will receive Rooster Bucks! What's more?
