Sky Paintings – Lin Ke Solo Exhibition
Image via MAB Society
Opening this weekend at Bank, Wenzhou artist Lin Ke returns for his second solo exhibition with the gallery, this time taking the seemingly conventional route of presenting watercolor paintings. The artist, who is known for digital and new media practices, paints famous figures and friends before breaking down the paintings into the basic elements and recontextualizing these pieces. Lin Ke’s work has received much acclaim over the past few years, and this new solo exhibition offers insight into the artist’s views on exhibition, painting and artistic communication.
Until Sep 10, Bank Shanghai.

Lu is known for short stories, which seek to delve beneath the skin of culture and art, and are framed within the dark, secretive underground.
