Jul 30: Anne-Marie China Tour in Shanghai

One of pop’s biggest breakout stars of 2018, British singer and songwriter Anne-Marie is coming to Shanghai after the global success of her debut album, Speak Your Mind. Anne-Marie’s music style combines a powerful singing voice with a charismatic, exuberant personality, and her confident, catchy anthems have won the hearts of many. Fans in China will be sure to enjoy a night of non-stop dancing.

Jul 31: New Noise pres. American Football

New Noise presents reunited emo rock band, American Football, who will be making their long-awaited China debut. Local Wuhan band Chinese Football will be opening the evening.

Aug 1: US Democratic Primaries Debate Watch Party - Morning

Political nerds, head down to Camel Sports Bar & Kitchen this Thursday to watch democratic candidates such as Joe Biden, Andrew Yang and Kirsten Gillibrand, among others, slug it out for a place in US voters’ hearts.

Aug 2: N.A.A.F.I/Thuvdr/Out of Fashion Boys pres. Fausto & Bahia

The lovely folks behind Beijing-based promoters Thuvdr and Out of Fashion Boys are bringing excellent experimental Mexican label N.A.A.F.I. to China this week. They'll hit All Club on Friday night, and they'll also set up a pop-up store in collaboration with FunctionLab and Turmoil Thee on Friday and Saturday (more details on that to follow).

Aug 2: DJ Husman

The Dutch DJ has over 70 million streams online and has collaborated on official remixes for stars like Rita Ora, Axwell, Avicii and many more. Husman's collaboration 'All The Kids' with Sam Feldt is now out on Spinnin', if you want to check it out. Don't miss Husman this weekend as he takes the stage at Linx Club.

Aug 3: Author Talk: Long Peace Street – A Walk in Modern China

Author Jonathan Chatwin will join the Pottery Workshop Shanghai to talk about his new book, Long Peace Street – A Walk in Modern China, that takes us on a walk down Beijing's Chang'an Avenue. The street in question cuts a long, arrow-straight line through the center of China's historic capital, dividing the Forbidden City, home to generations of Chinese emperors, from Tiananmen Square.

More than 70 underground brands, designers and artists will be out for a gathering this weekend at Breaking Grounds, the perfect meeting point for all of you independent thinkers.
