If you’re in town over the Dragon Boat weekend and you like beer, then we highly encourage you to hit up the Brew for Love Beer Festival at HKRI Taikoo Hui.
The local craft beer festival is raising money for a worthy cause, Heart to Heart. The charity supports surgeries for Chinese children born with congenital heart defects from families that would otherwise be unable to afford the treatment, and 100% of the proceeds go to them. Heart to Heart will also have their own dedicated booth at the event, so make sure to stop by.

Each day's festivities will begin with beer yoga by The Sweaty Crew at noon, followed by an adorable doggie fashion and talent show hosted by Bengie Pet Resort & School at 2.30pm. In a two-for-one charity blitz, Bengie will also be hosting a puppy auction so you can adopt an abandoned dog and donate to Heart to Heart at the same time.
Additional entertainment comes in the form of salsa lessons from Essence dance studio on Friday at 4pm, live guitar action on Saturday at 6pm and Prime Fitness activities on Sunday.

Breweries on board include Shanghai Love, Boxing Cat Brewery, Taihu, Young Master, 18 Brewery, Xian Brewery, Shanghai Brew House, Brander Ustroff and Taste Room. Food is a necessary part of any festival, so goodies from Azul, Homeslice, Funkadeli and UP Shanghai will be on offer.

You can also expect Crimson Pangolin gin cocktails, beer education courtesy of Shanghai Craft Brewers Association, beer games by The Brew Girl, Golden Gloves punching machine and music by DJ Naomi.
