Amano’s creations are a fusion of Japanese anime, manga, science fiction, gaming, art, drama and literature. He has also played a major role in the 15-part franchise, Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy marked the first time the artist used computer graphics to bring his creations to life in the world of video games. With Amano’s unique artistic style and fantastical imagination he won the Seiun Award (the highest award of science fiction works) four years in a row.
