May 17: Lorenzo Antinori Guest Shift

Coming from the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong is beverage ambassador, Lorenzo Antinori. The Italian bartender began his tenure at the Four Seasons in Seoul where he led Charles H bar to spots on the World's and Asia's 50 Best Bars in its first year of operation. Meet him and taste his creations at the Four Seasons Pudong for a one-night-only.

May 16: Healthy Chinese Regional Cooking

May 15: Stone Beeer University on Barrel-Aged Beers

If you like drinking beer, you'll love drinking beer infused with more booze through the process known as barrel-aging. At this fifth edition of Stone Beer University, learn about the history, benefits and styles of barrel-aging used around the world. Sip six different barrel-aged brews (five-ounce pours) for RMB188, covering everything from Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Russian Stouts to Imperial Saisons with Peaches, from Belgian-style IPAs aged in Sonoma County Chardonnay barrels to Imperial IPAs aged in Tequila barrels and everything in between. May 17-19, 24-26: A La Town Beer Festival

For only two weekends in May, A La town is putting on a beer festival featuring five specially crafted Shanghai Brew House such as top sellers like Vine Serpent IPA and Wishbone Pilsner or new creations like Kviek Pale Ale and Souffle Porter. There will also be margaritas, tacos and tandoor kebabs on offer.

May 18: 3 Chefs and a Wine Guy

Head to el Willy for a legendary night featuring some of Shanghai's ‘super sexy’ F&B stars. Executive chef Koen Vessies will be in the kitchen with Willy Trullas Moreno and Brad Turley (of Hai by Goga fame) in the kitchen with Alberto Fernandez handling the wines. The whole thing goes on for nine courses with five premium paired wines.

May 18: Abbey Road Barbecue Party

May 18: First Blood Superhero Bash

Release your inner superhero and defeat ordinary with Boxing Cat. In celebration of their new First Blood Amber Lager, they are putting on a superhero-themed bash at their Yongfu location. RMB100 gets you two pints of their freshest brew and bar bites for the evening, like grilled steak and mala BBQ sliders. Individual pints and special pins are just RMB25 all night long, and it's been reported that Logan Brouse and Eddy Yang will be around to whip up innovative beertails. Come by to watch Boxing Cat's very own superhero movie, and take part in the games, raffles and tunes (via DJ T-Plus). The best-dressed superhero gets a free month-long supply of First Blood, by the way.

May 18: Terrace Opening Party

The seasons have finally changed, so The ZUK Bar is opening their terrace with some cool activities. Doesn't cocktails on tap complemented with tastefully crafted tacos and live music sound fun? Additionally, the bar will have two pop-up events. World Class Champion mixologist Peter Lin will be in the house from May 17-20 followed by Kyrö Distillery Company Brand Ambassador Steven Beerens from May 24-25.

May 18: Love Wins

Gearing up for Shanghai Pride in June, The Parrot is hosting Love Wins, a celebration of love and open minds. The Love Wins movement orginated in the US as a fight for universal marriage equality. Now, Love Wins is a global call to compassion and a symbol of hope and progress. To celebrate this movement, Parrot is hosting a party with free-flowing booze and lots of love indeed. From 9pm til midnight, RMB100 will get you three Shanghai Love beers, or three shots and a coffee IPA chaser. DJ Simon Adams, a proud member of the LGBT community, will be hitting the decks, and the dresscode is rainbows and hearts.

The Grove distillery was originally set up as a wine estate until the two fraternal founders realised that Western Australia had the perfect climate for producing rum, their most-loved tipple. Focusing on small-batch production over quantity, the quality of their spirits is surely discernible in Cloud 9’s aromatic cocktails, only RMB88 for the whole of May.
