In April, six InterContinental hotels in Shanghai hosted ‘InterContinental Concierge Day.’
InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland, InterContinental Shanghai Hongqiao NECC, InterContinental Shanghai Expo, InterContinental Shanghai Pudong, InterContinental Shanghai Ruijin and InterContinental Shanghai Jing’An worked together to present their signature ‘A Day Exploring Wonderland’ activity to explore the beauty of Shanghai and better understand the spirit of InterContinental’s concierge service.
This InterContinental Concierge Day activity kicked off with an exclusive limousine experience, a luxury service picked up guests and sent them to InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland – InterContinental’s 200th hotel in the world. Guests were dazzled by a welcoming light and water show the moment they arrived in the hotel lobby.
A Day Exploring Wonderland was officially launched by Jeffery Sward, General Manager of InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland, who delivered a welcome speech at the hotel’s viewing deck.
Led by the InterContinental Concierge team, the guests first experienced the ‘Wonderland Ziptrek’ entertainment which overlooks the natural landscape of the Sheshan State Resort and Tianma Mountain. The activity was followed by an exciting rock wall climbing challenge. To further explore the beauty of Shanghai, the guests had the chance to try the local flavor of Songjiang for lunch. The specially designed menu was a welcome surprise to diners while demonstrating the considerate and attentive InterContinental Concierge services.
After lunch, the InterContinental Concierge team took all the guests to visit Guangfulin Ancient Relics Park – the so-called ‘root of Shanghai’ – to explore the many exhibition halls and attractions. After the successful day trip, guests were sent back home in the InterContinental limousines.
