Spring is officially upon us, which means the grass and colorful blossoms are once again adorning Shanghai. But how much do you really know about all those plants around you? Do you and your children actually have any idea what you put in your mouth during every meal? If your little ones are curious about these things, or even if they're just longing for a spring outing, then Young Botanist may be the perfect event for your family.
Tailored for kids between five and 10, Young Botanist offers children an opportunity to explore nature and obtain knowledge that even adults aren't familiar with. Through three specially-designed classes – Laboratory of Leaves and Fruits, World of Flowers and Botanist's Perspectives on Delicacies – kids get to gain knowledge about botany from a variety of angles.
The classes will be taught in the forests and streams of Ningbo. Kids get to stay at Camphor Tree Valley Resort at night and wake up every morning to breathtaking views of the valley. The event is mainly targeted toward kids, who will learn all about the significance of independence while enhancing their communication skills with other kids. (Parents can still participate if they pay an extra fee of RMB300.)
To secure your spots, visit the e-ticket site. The last day to register is Friday, April 19. You can also purchase book easily from your phone by scanning the QR code below:
