Calling all fact-lovers from the Land Down Under. Thursday will see an Australian-themed quiz covering music, film, geography, history and all things Aussie at Little Creatures. Indulge yourself in the trance-like vibes of XIA this Thursday night at Dada. DJs Ancient Alias will be delivering on those trippy-beats, whilst Arno D will be mellowing it down with some cool chillstep and slomo tech. Later in the night, Aktüman is bringing back the vibe to a magical clave of ambience and psydub beats. What’s more, dream-like visuals will be exhibited by Marine all night to make you feel like you’re on the ultimate trip to a psychedelic paradise.

Mar 21: Dub Attack

For all the reggae, bass and dancehall fans out there, Dub Attack is back for Vol. 4 at All Club this Thursday night. This event will headline top Filipino dub artist RED-I who will be playing his best tunes from his EP Mystic Revelation that is trending on China’s dub scene right now. Also on the list are Shanghai’s top dub performers MC JADO, Selecta MAZE and MC VBEC to present a sick night of explosive beats.

Mar 21: Festival Iminente

After the success of Festival Iminente in Lisbon and London, the intimate musical event is heading to Shanghai at Le Baron this Thursday night. Combining new music with new art to create a hypnotic experience, DJ Marfox from Portugal, DJ Shaka Lion from Brazil and the DJ collective Yeti Out from Hong Kong will be delivering the vibes at this creative and multicultural music event.

Mar 22-23: Tom Odell

Ivor Novello-winning British singer-songwriter Tom Odell is at the top of his game, having attained an impressive 1.8 million album sales and 10 million single sales worldwide. Known for his emotionally raw lyrics and grandstanding melodies, the singing sensation will present his honest and personal album Jubilee Road.

Fearless comedian Thai Rivera is coming to perform his stand up at the Shanghai Comedy Bunker. Expect to feel uncomfortable in the best way possible at his politically-incorrect humour which has taken the world by storm. Nothing is left out that will leave you in fits of laughter at this brutally honest comedian’s wit.

Mar 22-23: Drop It Like It's Neptunes

SHAKE's six-piece band warps into hyperspace with songs by N*E*R*D, Daft Punk, Snoop Dogg, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Jay-Z, Britney Spears, and many more. It's a night of music written by the most iconic, prolific, and influential producer duo of the last three decades: Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams, AKA The Neptunes. Singer/producer Courtney Knott stars in this show, joined by The Shanghai Sheiks plus late sets by Tony Hall and Matt Cooper. Change clothes and lose yourself to dance. Mar 23: Italian Dance Wave Asia

If you’ve never heard of the Italian dance-wave genre, then Dada has got you covered with Italian Dance Wave Asia who is promoting the new sound overseas that blends Italo and Asian sounds and rhythms. This night will showcase the cyber-punk and Asian electro melodies of Naples-born producer and designer Altieri, the multi-instrumental and experimental vibes of French music producer and beat maker Kaytv aka Tagge and then the Taiwan-born cosmic and synth wonder girl Velvet Robot.
