It's Thursday. Again. Which means hip-hop at Le Baron. Again. They do it every week and it's fun if that's your vibe and you're looking to kick start your weekend on the early side. Per usual, no shorts boys and best to get in before midnight if you don't have a table reservation.

Feb 28, 10pm, no cover. Le Baron, see event listing.

Mar 1: Rolling with DJ Sivle

The Bristol legend, Rob Smith returns with his signature heavy dub reggae/trip hop/jungle sounds. This is definitely a go-to for fans of Massive Attack, Tricky, Pinch, Addison Groove and so many others. Plus Kyle is opening! Hey Kyle! (If SmartShanghai can do shout outs, why can't we?)

Mar 1, 9pm, RMB60 before midnight, RMB80 after. Dada, see event listing.

Mar 1: Break The Wall

If you haven't checked out that new club in Found, 44KW, yet, this right here is your excuse to do so. Their sound system is insane - seriously, it looks like it's some kind of spaceship or something - and they're bringing through some European house DJs on Friday, so what more can you really ask for? Also they make proper drinks. Like, a well stocked bar. No joke.

Mar 1, 9pm, RMB100 pre-sale, RMB120 door. 44KW, see event listing.

Mar 1: POMO and Harrison Brome

DJ Pomo and singer Harrison Brome tare kicking things up at Arkham for a live set this Friday. Pomo is a Canadian born multi-instrumentalist now residing in Montreal, and has taken the electronic music scene by the collar, dragging it back onto the dance floor with dreamy synths, glittery arpeggios, buoyant beats and twangy samples. Brome's all about that bedroom pop RNB vibe, so should be a good one if you're looking to burn a few calories.

Mar 1, 10pm, RMB150 pre-sale, RMB180 door, RMB280 pre-sale two tickets. Arkham, see event listing, buy tickets.

Mar 1-2: Bar Rouge Grand Re-Opening
