As the landmark French hotel in Ningbo’s new business district, Sofitel Ningbo had the privilege of introducing a truly French experience to this port city when it opened 10 years ago in December 2008. The hotel introduced the iconic essence of refined French gastronomy, reinforced the unique local culture and has successfully completed the French art de vivre.

In December, Sofitel Ningbo celebrated its 10th anniversary with a grand gala dinner to convey its appreciation for all the sincere efforts and support of the owner, government, business partners and media friends.

The hotel also organized a charity auction. All proceeds will be donated to Give a Tree, a CSR campaign launched by Accorhotels in conjunction with China Zigen, aimed to support AccorHotels’ Plant for the Planet program. All the guests participated in the auction. In return, one of the hotel’s charity products, tillandsias, was made available for guests to keep as souvenirs. More importantly, the hotel shared the 2019 new concept wedding desserts. Inspired by Monet, the new desserts were enjoyed by guests that night.
