Copenhagen-based electronic producer and singer-songwriter Jenny Rossander released a new album in late September, and it’s all about Shanghai. Under the name Lydmor, I Told You I’d Tell Them Our Story, is based on the six months the artist spent living in China’s largest metropolis. There’s a clear narrative and recognizable imagery in the album, with track titles like ‘To The Mansion’ and ‘Money Towers’ referencing one of the city’s more boisterous clubs and the Pudong skyline. Catch her live performances this month in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong to hear songs about friend groups, navigating nightlife and living at the edge of the world. You can listen to, and download it, here.
