Aug 24: Wonky Kong feat. T.Williams

If you're into grime, soulful house or British funk, you're going to want to hit Elevator for T.WIlliams's China debut. The piano riffs, horns and progressive synths give his sound a Boiler Room vibe that'll easily carry you into the early morning hours.

Aug 24: Barbarism Vol. 8

Le Baron is back with their monthly "night for civilized barbarians." They're all about hitting you where it hurts in the best possible way, livin' into your feels, and gettin' down to that new hip hop, deep cuts and familiar vocals in unfamiliar contexts.

Aug 24: Taps N' Tracks

Head on over to Stone Brewing if you're just looking for some good brews and a bite with a super solid soundtrack. DJ T-Plus of Come Correct Crew keeps it real with OG hip hop and its evolutionary predecessors, so you can expect a set of well-curated classics.

Aug 24: Snapline

The fast-rising young band from Beijing headline at Modern Sky Lab this Friday. Since being formed in 2005, Snapline have gone from strength to strength with their unique take on the post-punk genre, drawing influence from the likes of Joy Division and The Cure.

Aug 24: Unchained Recording

Unchained has been hosting bass shows acros the country for the last two years, and now, they're celebrating the launch of their own recording sessions. They're bringing through international artists like Sinistarr, Subp Yao, Fractale and Kabuki for the occasion, and with more on the roster it's sure to run late.

Aug 25: Techno Train pres. Lina K

Eight hour set. That's right, Lina K is playing an eight hour set. She's been organizing Techno Train for the last four years, and now she's running that engine herself.

Aug 25: NÜSHÙ Presents Bambii

Bambii's also hitting Dada this weekend for a DJ set of her own. Coming through via NÜSHÙ, the sponsor started out as an inclusive space for femme, femme-identifying, queer, LGBTQI and non-binary identifying individuals to workshop their DJ skills. Any and all are welcome.

Funky French bedroom DJ, Crayon, will be at Mao this weekend. His music is super chill and makes for a great work/writing/night biking soundtrack.

Party! Pool! Pirates! With beer pong, salsa dancing, a treasure hunt and whole mess of games, this is one of the most solid ways you could spend your Saturday. They'll have BBQ and Indian food on offer, with a host of quality cocktails for you to choose from should you feel so inclined. Plus, it's pirate themed, which is always a good thing.
