Shanghai's schools are getting into the holiday spirit. Here are some of the fun and festive events they have in store for the Shanghai community over the coming weeks. Don't miss your chance to visit Santa's Grotto, shop around the markets, sample delicious food and enjoy celebrating the season.

December 2: Dulwich College Shanghai, Pudong Winter Fair

One of the most exciting days for the community is the Winter Fair at Dulwich College Shanghai, Pudong campus. With an array of fun activities for the whole family, the event includes musical performances with carols, rock bands and dancing. Join in the games and enjoy shopping and tasting local flavors from over 130 vendor stalls, and most importantly make sure you visit Santa's Grotto. The Winter Fair is a major fundraising event for the school community, with the majority of funds allocated to the charity partners aligned to the school and the Friend of Dulwich association.

December 8: NAIS Pudong German Christmas Market

This year, Nord Anglia International School will be hosting a fabulous German Christmas Market on December 8 from 5.30-8.30pm. The German Christmas market will include children's activities, the ever-popular Santa's grotto, musical entertainment, a shopping area, delicious food and drinks and a charity raffle. This is an important fundraising event, and all profits go to the charities which they have sponsored for many years. The event provides vital funds for organizations like Huixin Orphanage, Shanghai Sunrise and Heart2Heart, each of which provide essential services to vulnerable children.

December 9: Dulwich Puxi Winter Fair

Dulwich College Shanghai, Puxi campus is very excited to invite all Shanghai families to join their Winter Fair on Saturday December 9 from noon - 4pm. Expect a superb afternoon of activities for children, delicious food and wine along with plenty of Christmas shopping to wrap and put under your Christmas tree.
