Shanghai's River Cruise is About to Become Longer

If you've taken visitors on the Huangpu River Cruise only to find yourself disembarking dissapointed due to a short time afloat, we've got news for you. The sightseeing trip is going to be extended by 21 km.

Setting into motion later this year, the new trip will extend from Fuxing Island to Xupu Bridge. The current tours are only 9km long and stick between Yangpu and Lupu bridges.

There is also a motion to combine water and land tourism activities in order to explore scenic spots on land.

The finalization of the new route with coincide with construction on the city's 45 km stretch of pedestrian paths along the Huangpu, also scheduled to be finished by this year.
