Popular bike-sharing app Mobike is offering free rides in Shanghai this entire week.
Yep, from now until 11.59pm on Sunday, March 26, every single Mobike ride is completely free of charge.
This is the second or third time Mobike has run a free rides promotion this month. Interesting timing given that Shanghai authorities requested eight leading bike-share platforms to cease distributing new bikes around the city just last week. (Both Mobike and archrival Ofo deny such talks occurred).
