While New Zealand may have been struck by a huge earthquake but, a resilient people, a special Kiwi food extravaganza featuring New Zealand's premium produce including meat, seafood, dairy products, fruits, wines, craft beers and more is going on at the Westin Bund Center Shanghai this Kiwi Week. You may have missed a delicious brunch on Sunday, but there is still plenty more in store.
Every evening from 6-10pm until November 19th there will be a KIWI Dinner Buffet, a range of Kiwi dishes inspired by the Maori Hangi cooking style, featuring high quality New Zealand produce will be featured on The Stage buffet every day throughout Kiwi Week. That is RMB418 pp Sundays through Thursdays and RMB458 pp Friday and Saturday.
On Friday November 18th, from 6-9.30pm, Prego will host La Carnivore’s Champagne Friday’s – Kiwi Week Edition. Expect more than the norm you see during Prego's weekly la carnivore champagne Friday’s with a wider selection of premium New Zealand lam and beef. Arrive by 6.30pm and you can also enjoy a traditional Maori performance in the lobby! Free-flow Italian wines, soft drinks, beer and juices is RMB569 pp, while RMB686 will include free-flow Taittinger Champagne.
And finally, until November 20th, The Crystal Garden Taste of New Zealand will see specially crafted a la carte selection of delicacies sourced from New Zealand, including Northland oyster and basil, “future cuisine” green shell mussel and more. Lunch runs 11.30am-2.30pm and dinner 5-30-10.30pm.
