You Can Now Fly to Moganshan in a Helicopter

As wonderful as the city of Shanghai is, there are those of us (though we may be few in number) who enjoy the occasional break from our beloved city. Fortunately, for those who want to escape the city for a weekend, by next year, with the completion of the Deqing Airport, Shanghairen who feel cooped up can escape via helicopter to Moganshan's beautiful mountainous landscape.

What is truly tremendous about the new helicopter route is that it can fly directly to the Mogan Resort, assuring that guests are transported quickly and safely, and adding an extra two hours minimum to their stay.

Sure, a private helicopter ride from a major metropolitan area to a luxury resort sounds pretty fantastic, but just how much does something so extravagant cost? Prices appear to range from RMB5000 per hour, which is about the going rate for any helicopter tour as they charge approximately RMB1000 for every ten minutes the passengers are in the air.

Some may question whether or not such a way of transportation is safe and those people may rest assured that it is. Flying at about 1000 meters, the flights shouldn’t be too strenuous, both to one’s body and wallet.
