Yang Jing Bang is Doing a Vegetarian Noodle Pop-up

Nat Alexander's Yang Jing Bang roving noodle house strikes again on Thursday and Friday, this time at that vegetarian eatery just off Donghu Lu, D'Lish. That's right, noodle loving vegetarians and vegans got the shout with an entirely meat-free menu of Chinese-meets-world eats priced from RMB65 for a set.

Up for grabs are things like 'Wanza Mian' egg noodles with spicy split peas, smoked shitake and tofu ragu with chipotle oil; heirloom tomatoes with Shanxi buckwheat vinegar, camelia oil and black sesame, or pressed leek and tofu terrine with Sichuan dressing and coriander. Alexander also notes that there are at least two vegan-friendly dishes on the menu.

Sets are priced at RMB65, including one noodle dish, one cold dish and a soft drink (RMB75 for a boozy drink instead). Alexander also tells us this installment of Yang Jing Bang will be the last for "at least two months," so eat now or forever hold your peace (well, until September).

June 16 and 17, from 7.30pm onwards.
