It has been nearly a month since an earthquake rocked Nepal - and now, the country needs money and assistance more than ever. Simply because the natural disaster has fallen from the headlines doesn't mean that supplies aren't urgently needed; fortunately, there are still a number of great ways to support the country from Shanghai.

The latest venue to host a Nepal fundraiser is Changshou Lu's Pizza Street, which has already raised and sent close to RMB39,000 thanks to the owner's connections with some people who have personally been delivering relief supplies to the country.

On Saturday, May 23, Pizza Street will host an absolutely epic raffle fundraiser lunch. Thanks to donations from many Shanghai establishments, the potential prizes for this event are well worth the ticket price. Prizes include:

  • RMB1200 meal voucher to Naked Bites
  • A case of All Day IPA beer
  • A meal voucher to the soon-to-open Bull and Claw
  • Lots of Champagne
  • Lots of whisky
  • Lots of wine
  • A night in the Naked Stables resort in Moganshan
  • A dozen mixed pies
  • Much, much more

If those raffle prizes don't get you excited, then it's time to check your pulse.

The lunch will be held on Saturday, May 23, from noon-4pm. Tickets are a reasonable RMB150, which includes all-you-can-eat pizza and two glasses of beer or wine.

This is a great deal for a good cause, and it would be hard to find an excuse good enough to skip this event. Support Nepal, scarf some pizza and win some excellent prizes this Saturday.
