One Friday night, a few years ago, Martin and Ciarán bumped into each other while standing at a urinal in Shanghai's most famous Irish bar, 'The Blarney Stone'. The pair who had never met before this night were both humming along to the song that played through the bars jukebox. The song was 'The Boxer' by Simon & Garfunkel. About 8 pints deep and without a care in the world, Ciarán started singing at the top of his lungs! Without even looking in the strangers direction, Martin soon began singing along with Ciarán but he wasn't just singing, he was singing in perfect harmony. This led to a night of acapella Irish songs with everyone else in the bar.
