Proto-punk garage rockers The Ravages, assembled by some of Beijing’s music most active delinquents throw caution to the wind and head down to Shanghai with their carnivalesque beer-soaked rock and roll. A psychedelic roller coaster ride coated in layers of fuzz, driving organ riffs and mischievous fun - it’s akin to a 70s rock and roll variety show that descends into madness. For the tour, the band is teaming up with OG Beijing craft beer purveyors Great Leap Brewery for The Ravages IPA - which will be on hand behind the bar at C’s for a special free flow deal. Support from Nantong new wave punks AIRSEX and Round Eye, the ‘malformed spawn of doo-wop, punk and free-jazz’ whose depravity knows no bounds . Plus, afterparty sets from vinyl spinner Boss Cuts and Chinese underground rock enthusiast DJ Fancy Hobo.
