Shanghai’s house of funk and soul hosts a supper club pop-up with chefs Michael Wendling (Cuivre) and Danyi Gao (SHAKE, Bun Cha Cha). They’re cooking their take on a five course French meal for two, with foie gras au torchon, beef tartare with pickled radish and chili oil, roasted tooth fish with shallot and red wine glaze, duck leg confit with rosemary baby potatoes and orange sauce, and a blue cheese creme brûlée with lavender, roasted pear, and walnuts. From 9:30pm, singers Sookie and Wink and SHAKE’s band are serving three sets of that ‘80s funk and disco with their Maoming Express show. Dinner from 6:30pm. Set for two persons is 599rmb, including admission to the show. Admission to the show without dinner is 100rmb.
