During the short asparagus season, roughly from end of April until early July, most Germans eat asparagus as often as they can. Asparagus is prepared and served in many different ways. Most typically people enjoy it with sauce hollandaise accompanied by potatoes and ham or with meat and fish.
From April 19 onwards, all five Paulaner Bräuhaus Shanghai locations will offer traditional white asparagus dishes, which can be chosen from a small a la carte selection as long as the season lasts.
