This Saturday, December 5, Hoop & Horn Mead will take over Mikkeller by serving up an attractively aromatic mulled mead to warm all the jolly souls. Collaborating with Hoop & Horn will be Wayne Hou, serving up Chicago's lesser-known style of pizza, the tavern-style. Baked on a thin sheet of dough that results in a crispy cracker crust, the tavern-style is loaded with cheese and meat toppings that packs a special Chicago flavor punch. From 12 pm until supplies last, The Bearded Bear will be dishing out horns of Gold Horn Classic Mead in addition to the glowing glasses of cinnamon and vanilla mulled mead to pair with Wayne Hou's cheesy and savory 10" pizza pies. Pizzas selections include Margherita at 69 RMB, Fennel Sausage at 79 RMB, and Meatball & Ricotta at 79 RMB.
