This weekend, SHAKE presents three nights of funk, soul, and classics with the captivating singer, Ms. Kokoh. Born in the heart of Texas, Ms. Kokoh attended the Booker T. Washington School for the Performing and Visual Arts, along with artists like Erykah Badu, Roy Hargrove, Keith Anderson, Robert Seawright (Snarky Puppy) and Norah Jones. Her debut album, "Meltdown" was produced by the inimitable Leon Ware, producer for Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, and many others. Ms. Kokoh has also shared the stage with Charlie Wilson & The Gap Band, Keith Sweat, Christopher Williams, Norwood Young, and more legends as a backup singer.
