DIANCUI originated in the Han Dynasty and developed to the extreme in the Qing Dynasty, especially the Qianlong's Reign. It is a typical mainstream culture of the Forbidden City and exists as a supplementary craft of metalworking.

As a subsidiary craft of metalworking, it plays an indispensable role in history. Although it is as gorgeous as fireworks for a while, this craft will not be annihilated with the times, because every inch and thread is infused with an elegant soul.

The workshop focuses on the technological process. Instead of using real kingfisher feathers, use goose feathers with a new type of DIANCUI. The goal of the workshop is to make a hairpin with the method of DIANCUI.
