Our new Paulaner Bavarian Summer Ale is a fruity Craft beer sensation for hot summer months in Shanghai. Freshly brewed in the brand’s own microbreweries, the Summer Ale is a top-fermented seasonal beer with refreshing bitterness and hints of pineapple, lemon and other sweet fruits. It is not as heavy as our Lager Beer and has an alcoholic content of 4.8%.

To cheer the arrival of summer with all beer lovers, all four Paulaner Bräuhaus Shanghai branches will serve for the first time the Summer Ale from July 1 until August 31, 2019. Like other Paulaner brews, it is produced according to the 1516 German Law of Purity, a strict brewing guideline considered as one of the oldest food preparation laws in the world. 

The Summer Ale is perfect to pair with a tasty and colorful salad from our Summer Salad selection or all kind of fish and seafood dishes. 

The price for our Summer Ale is RMB 55 for 0.25 liter. The price for 0.5 and 1 liter of Summer Ale is the same as our regular beer.
