Join the talented “TPK Trio” - Tom Peng, Kirk Kenney and Paul Meredith – for a fun evening of acoustic music:  bluegrass, Americana, mandolin, guitar, fiddle, and banjo, original & Chinese songs.

Tom Peng (Pang zhi Peng) is one of China’s musical pioneers and premier mandolinist. Trained as a classical violinist, the Inner Mongolia native leads the Tom Peng Newgrass Band. A skilled throat singer in the Mongolian style, he infuses American styles with a fabulous new sound.

Kirk Kenney is a member of several Beijing folk music groups, including Mountain High, and is a leader in the Americana scene. An excellent tenor singer, Kirk also plays fiddle, guitar, mandolin, and clawhammer style banjo.

Paul Meredith is a singer-songwriter and an accomplished guitarist who also plays the banjo, mandolin, bass, and harmonica. A Michigan native, he is a member of the Mountain High folk trio, and has lived and performed all over China since 1990.
