The world's most colorful run is headed back to Shanghai. The Color Run returns to our fair city for the fifth time with it's brand new Love Tour on June 1. It's all about spreading the love! Runners can celebrate what we love about ourselves, each other and the planet we all share. 

The Color Run, also known as the Happiest 5K on the Planet, is a unique event that celebrates health, happiness and individuality. Now the largest running series in the world, The Color Run has been experienced by over 7 million runners worldwide in more than 40 countries.

The Color Run is a five-kilometer, untimed event. At each kilometer mark, Color Runners are doused from head to toe in a different colored powder. Participants wear white at the starting line and finish the race plastered in a rainbow of colors. Once the race is over, the fun continues at the Finish Festival, a larger-than-life party equipped with music, dancing, photo ops, activity booths, vendors and more massive color throws, which create millions of vivid color combinations.
