Author and “Australian Living Treasure” Tom Keneally is here in Shanghai for Australian Writers Week. His historical fiction novel “Schindler’s List”, won the highest award in English literature – the Booker Prize. Based on a true story, the book tells the story of Oskar Schindler; a German man who during the Second World War saved hundreds of Jews from the Nazis. The novel was adapted into the film of the same name which later won seven Academy Awards. Mr Keneally will share with readers his story behind the writing of Schindler’s List.

One ticket per person. Entry via ticket. Ticket also allows entry to the 4pm screening of the Oscar-winning film “Schindler’s List” on Tuesday 16 May prior to Mr Keneally’s talk.
