Design MVW Description

A red Chinese-style iron gate along the road attracts passers-by to stop and have a look inside. Chinese designer Ming Xu and French architect Virginie Moriette established the design services studio Design MVW in 2005, and opened their showroom in the former French concession where they showcase their projects as well as their award-winning furniture collection. Together the founders have been producing innovative work for over 10 years. In this time, the exceptional synergy between their respective cultures and training has resulted in an inimitable style that has been internationally awarded for its use of timeless elements and contemporary shapes. Inspired by natural forms, timeless elements, and even contemporary art, each design embodies the blending of Eastern and Western traditions.
