Spanish Consulate's Book Donation Sparks Excitement at UISG

On August 29, the Utaholy International School of Guangzhou (UISG) hosted a special event, welcoming Eduardo Alonso from the Consulate General of Spain in Guangzhou for a meaningful book donation ceremony.

Held in the school's library, Spanish Consul Alonso generously donated a collection of books aimed at enriching the student's understanding of the Spanish language and culture. 

The contribution is expected to provide students with valuable educational resources, deepen their cultural knowledge and foster international understanding.

During the ceremony, one UISG student presented Spanish Consul Alonso with a hand-painted artwork as a symbol of gratitude. The painting, crafted specifically for the occasion, celebrated the growing ties and friendship between the school and Spain.

After the ceremony,  Spanish Consul Alonso toured the Spanish language classrooms, where he observed a live class in progress and witnessed firsthand the enthusiasm of UISG students as they engaged in learning Spanish, reflecting the growing interest in cross-cultural education.
