The ‘Yuekangma’ mini program updated its interface today, adding a Chinese lion head cartoon for those who are fully vaccinated. 

If you’re not able to register through the Guangdong Provincial Affairs Mini Program 粤省事, try scanning this QR code below. It worked for us, as we have a foreign passport:

Be sure to enter your name with your surname first, followed by first name. This version also offers different language options.

A blue border and blue lion means you have had one shot of the vaccine, while a golden border and red lion means you have received two doses.

If you’d like to bookmark your health code for easy access, press the three dots on the top right hand corner and press ‘Floating’. On your main WeChat page, you can easily access the health code again by pressing the two dots on the top left corner
