May 1-2: That’s Summer Tropical Party
It’s time to fish out your tacky Hawaiian shirt, with That’s Tropical Summer Party kicking off the May holiday at Four Seas Walk in Panyu district. This two-day tropical-themed fest will run from 4pm till 9pm on Saturday and Sunday, and feature one of China’s top DJs, a dance performance and plenty of fun games to join. Expect 15 awesome craft beer booths and serval tasty food vendors as well as a fun atmosphere for families and friends.

May 1-2: Talllk Cafe Soft Opening Party
Be one with nature at the Talllk Cafe Soft Opening Party. We’re admittedly not the biggest fans of adding two extra L’s in talk, but hey, this coffee-centric venue should be fun.

May 2: Guangzhou FC vs. Shenzhen FC

Football season recently started back up, and your favorite (or second favorite) Guangzhou squad is squaring up against neighboring Shenzhen. Expect some serious balls to get kicked around.

Brasston recently started showcasing a selection of artworks from UK-born designer and artist Toros Cangar that will be available for purchase for a limited time only. As a lover and enthusiast for the creative industry, Cangar spends the majority of his time developing and designing products. But outside of office hours, he dedicates his free time to create a series of small 30x30 centimeter canvas paintings. Suitable for home, office, shelf, or window sill, the collection of minimal art pieces, named ‘what have you seen, where have you been?,’ reflect the simple things in life.
