Fri Nov 27: New Vibes at Brasston

Fri Nov 27, 10pm. Brasston.

Sat Nov 28: InterNations Brazilian Barbecue Night

InterNations and Latin Grillhouse are bringing you an awesome Brazilian Barbecue night that includes not only barbecue but also three hours of free flow, live music and dancing. It’s sure to be a night to remember so come out and enjoy the meat.

Sat Nov 28, 7pm. RMB270. Latin Grillhouse.

Sat Nov 28: Wild Wild West Party

Zapata’s is bringing you yet another awesome party this Saturday night. Get your cowboy hats ready or borrow one from your token Texas friend (come on, you know you have one). Practice your two-step and come on out for all those things indicative of a Wild Wild West Party: namely the live band and tequila cowgirls.

Sat Nov 28, 10pm. Zapata’s

Sat Nov 28: Women Empowerment in Old Canton

Expect an evening full of deep connections and emotional conversations focusing on the empowerment of women and taking control of traditions to suit women. This event will be held at Jueyuan, 1984, one of the old mansions of Dongshankou so be ready to take lots of pictures with new and old friends with some amazing architecture in the background. The dress code is qipao or vintage wear, so come in your most elegant dress and maybe add some elbow-length gloves for good measure.

Sat Nov 28, 6.30-10pm. Jueyuan, 1984.

Sun Nov 29: The 8th Chinese Movie Night

This coming Sunday Zhang Yimou’s The House of Flying Daggers will be playing at Triple Rooster. This is a visually stunning film, which according to critics belongs in the top 10 best Chinese Movies of all time. Come out Sunday evening and enjoy one of the great romances.

Sun Nov 29, 6.30pm. Triple Rooster

Sun Nov 29: Language Mix Picnic

This Sunday there will be a language mix picnic at Haixinsha Park. If you’d like to spend your Sunday practicing your Chinese or English at a picnic in the park then contact the host via email 1004611367@qq.com
