On November 2, registration opened for the 2020 Guangzhou Marathon, which will be held on December 13.
The registration period will last until Sunday, November 8 and costs RMB160 to sign up.
According to GRT Radio, Guangzhou will only have a full marathon this year.
Runners from low-risk areas in the Chinese mainland will be allowed to enter the race. The total number of participants this year cannot exceed 20,000.
As for the marathon route, expect a very similar route to last year starting at the Tianhe Sports Center and finishing at Huacheng Square.
