This year has been pretty scary, so Halloween should be less of a fright and more of a fun time. As such, and in the grand old tradition of festive celebration, Guangzhou’s nightlife offers a variety of themed events around the city starting this Wednesday!

Tristan’s
On Wednesday, Tristan’s will kick off Halloween celebrations with a trivia night hosted by Frank. Enjoy appletinis and candy apples while answering questions on all things Halloween. Scan the QR code on the poster and book a table with Frank (if there are any still available!)

8 Faubourg Terrace
Head to Sofitel Hotel’s 8 Faubourg Terrace on October 30 for Zocentive’s ‘Spooky Silent Disco Glowga’ where you can experience glow-in-the-dark yoga. This wellness party includes body painting, a silent disco as well as free flow (sparkling wine, rose and healthy beverages) and finger foods. Scan the QR code below to sign up.

Roof Top Bar
Trick or treating at LN Hotel Five’s Rooftop Bar comes in two parts. The first part is an awesome jazz concert followed by the ‘Spooky World’ which includes live entertainment as well as ‘witches’ brew’. We’re not 100% sure what type of concoction it is, but knowing the Rooftop Bar staff, it’s almost certain to be delicious. To learn more about this event, scan the QR codes on the poster.

13 Factories
13 Factories is throwing their annual Not-Another-Halloween Party. There will be no Halloween decorations inside the restaurant, and some cheesy Halloween comedies (Rocky Horror Picture Show and Scary Movie) showing. The drink special is three drinks for RMB100, plus a free shot with every dish ordered.

Brasston
Brasston is hosting another Hoodoo Halloween. We don’t know how they will top last year’s party involving a certain creepy individual and a CCTV camera following people. And, who could forget the waimai guy delivering body parts. Come out and see the best (and worst) Guangzhou has to offer.

Didi
There’s a big party out in Foshan to celebrate Halloween in raging fashion. According to the poster, partygoers can pay RMB98 for entry and receive a free drink, or double down on free flow for RMB258. Expect a decent DJ lineup and prizes on the night. For this year’s Halloween, G Bar is inviting you to dress-up in a creative Halloween costume and a make-up artist will help you put on spooky face-paint to celebrate. On this special night, you can enjoy free flow of selected house wines, sparkling wines and mysterious Halloween-themed cocktails. Enjoy halloween with plenty of drinks and good vibes!

Zapata’s is throwing a crazy party this Saturday night. If you plan on going all out on your costume this year then this is the party to join because not only will you look cool, but you could also win a Zapata’s voucher. Also, Zapata’s is a pretty good spot to dance in Guangzhou.
