Forbes Travel Guide (FTG) offered a sneak peek at select winners from its upcoming 2021 annual Star Awards, naming Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou as a recipient of the coveted Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Hotel for the seventh consecutive year. Hua Spa was honored with a Four-Star Spa designation for the sixth successive year.

Forbes Travel Guide, the world-renowned experts in genuine Five-Star service, announced its 2020 Star Awards in February. FTG is now adding to the prestigious award winners list by revealing selected 2021 winners in advance to provide inspiration for top travel picks, post-quarantine. The early winners for 2021 were inspected prior to COVID-19 closures.

Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou, attaining the top Five Star Award recognition, is defined by Forbes as being one of the finest establishments in the world, delivering exceptional guest experiences that exceeds expectations. Star ratings are awarded by a team of anonymous professional inspectors. Five-Star properties are defined as “outstanding, often iconic properties with virtually flawless service and amazing facilities.” - which makes winning this award one of the most prestigious achievements in the industry.

Since opening in 2012, Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou has consistently been recognized for its iconic design and excellent service. The hotel occupies the top third of the landmark Guangzhou International Finance Center, and always focuses on delivering exceptional experiences to their diverse guests. Families can enjoy a customized family room with kids’ amenities and the Kids’ Corner, complete with interactive games and activities. For wedding couples, the hotel has launched a wedding package complete with a photo shoot venue on the helipad located on the 103rd floor. Business guests enjoying Club Lounge access are entitled to dining, meeting and personalised business centre privileges in the contemporary and private Executive Club Lounge featuring panoramic views from the 99th floor.

A sanctuary in the sky awaits you at Hua Spa – located on the 69th floor, one flight below but well removed from the bustle of the hotel, this refuge offers a range of body, skin, thermal and water treatments to relax, rejuvenate and revive your body and mind. In the near future Hua Spa will launch the Remodelling Face Treatment featuring a state-of-the-art facial machine by Biologique Recherché, the luxury French skincare brand. This treatment will lift and tighten skin, reduce wrinkles as well as re-sculpt facial contours.

“There is no question that 2020 is the most challenging year our industry has ever faced. In spite of this we have endeavored to ensure that every guest experiences the acclaimed Four Seasons service while adhering to “Lead With Care” guidance by Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts” commented Patrick Pollak, General Manager, Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou.
