No New Confirmed Coronavirus Cases Reported in Guangzhou

On Tuesday morning, the Health Commission of Guangdong Province announced that there were only six new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19) reported in Guangdong on Monday, February 17. Of the six cases, two were in Dongguan, along with one each in Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Huizhou and Zhaoqing. Notably, Guangzhou had no new confirmed cases of the virus on Monday.

In total, Guangdong has 1,328 confirmed cases, with 530 cured and four dead. The highest concentration of cases in the province is in the Greater Bay Area, consisting of nine Guangdong cities, including Guangzhou and Shenzhen.

Among the confirmed cases, 653 are male and 675 are female, with ages ranging from 2 months old to 90 years old.
