Over the last 20 years, the Russian State Ballet Theater has remained one of the leading ballet companies in Russia, enjoying international acclaim. Its repertoire includes masterpieces of classical ballets as well as some of the world’s finest examples of modern choreography. The exhibition Moon and Beyond is about China’s 50 years of lunar exploration. It is a 360-degree, fully immersed experience designed by Crossmedia, with footage and images provided by the China National Space Administration and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Visitors are exposed to a space odyssey via VR, AR and more advanced technology.

Sat, Dec 21: Maksim Mrvica

Croatian pianist Maksim Mrvica plays classical crossover music in a modern way through the use of electro-acoustic devices. His works like ‘Croatian Rhapsody’ have helped revive the classical music scene and boost the genre’s popularity. His debut album The Piano Player added new elements to some of the masterpieces by Handel and Chopin. The fashionably tattooed pianist will spice things up in Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall this Saturday.

Sat, Dec 21: InterNations Guangzhou - Brazilian Winterfest

Rub shoulders with like-minded and interesting individuals at InterNations’ Brazilian Winterfest held at the Happy Monk Party Pier this Saturday. Attendees can enjoy a three-hour free flow of quality Portuguese white wine, red wine, beer and soft drinks, a Brazilian cachaca (as a welcome drink), mixed cocktails as well as a myriad of canapes.
