Thu, Dec 12: RobbyGee Trio @ Brasston

Tenor saxophonist Robby developed his unique style in Scotland, where he studied jazz at Napier University. He’s taken part in Edinburgh Jazz and Blues festivals for more than 10 years, and brought this wealth of experience to Canton. In Guangzhou, he plays in a jazz trio that performs at different venues around the city. Come to Brasston and hear an enthralling mix of jazz, blues and modern funk fusion.

Fri, Dec 13: Xzoom Presents BNJMN @ The Window

British producer BNJMN (aka Ben Thomas) has made a strong impression on the electronic music scene. In collaboration with the acclaimed labels Tresor, Rush Hour and Delsin, Thomas has released more than 20 works in just seven years. Swing by The Window on Friday to jam out with BNJMN and more great acts on the night.

American post rock band Caspian is on an eight-stop China tour, showcasing work from their upcoming album. Through passionate songwriting, the band carves through the darkness and allows all to be bathed in light. Even when the band is at their heaviest, there are still feelings of peace and catharsis that hang in the air. Caspian transcend post rock norms to create some unique music that is emotive, well-written and utterly enthralling.
